Braves Continue Skid Thanks to Graham, Golden Cranes
|
The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes powered past the Gryfindor Braves, 10-1, at Cayuse Ballpark. Gilbert Graham belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice, to lead the charge. Pedro Castro, the winner, improved to 1-1. He held the Braves to 1 earned run on 3 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 6. With the loss, Gryfindor falls to 2-7.
Graham had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the fifth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Golden Cranes went on to win.
"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Graham.
