Alloway Halberds starter Don Blessing was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Gryfindor Braves, 5-3. The loss lowers the Gryfindor record to 1-2.

Dave Ash, the 29 overall pick in the 2019 draft, helped out the Alloway cause in the top of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the center fielder went 1-4 with a triple and a walk.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Ash.
