Golden Cranes Get Close Win Over Reserves
|
It was a good time at Crane Field, where fans came to watch the Athletic Club KC Reserves and Santa Barbara Golden Cranes get after it.
The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes topped the Athletic Club KC Reserves by the score of 6-3, with the largest share of the credit going to second baseman Byron Isaacson. Isaacson went 1-2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Golden Cranes. Enrique García earned his 2nd save in 2 tries.
Gilbert Graham's at-bat in the bottom of the third was significant for the Golden Cranes. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Santa Barbara leading 2-1, the first baseman drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
Graham attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
