Stefan Famintsyn got the win, improving to 6-7. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 8 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 4. Salem improves to 53-38 with the win. Derksen had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the third, when he hit a 2-run single. The Misfits went on to win.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Derksen.
