Blackadder Now 5-6 After Subduing Athletic Club KC Academy
|
The Glendale Herons picked up a win at KC Academy Field, knocking off the Athletic Club KC Academy, 5-1. Starting pitcher Edmund Blackadder, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Glendale is now 41-33.
Blackadder allowed 1 run over 9 innings. He also racked up 7 strikeouts.
"Edmund is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Glendale manager Juan López.
