Atlantic City pitcher NaNomi Lojore gave the Herons all they could handle, but in the end, Glendale left Heron Field with a 3-2 win. Lojore allowed 2 earned runs on 6 hits over 8 innings. The Herons now have a record of 35-28 with the win over Atlantic City.
Luis Trevino was the walk-off hero for Glendale. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Herons second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
