Son Rips Myrtle Beach for 5 Hits

Dam Son put on a hitting clinic today as the Atlantic City Sonics dumped the Myrtle Beach Mermen 4-1 at Tennille Grounds.
The Atlantic City first baseman made Myrtle Beach defenders earn their pay, lashing Myrtle Beach pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."
"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Son said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."
Dam Son doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
Son is hitting .352 this year with 6 home runs and 37 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .408, 18 walks and scored 25 times.
