Herons Top Seawolves Behind Iriawan, 6-1
|
It was a good time at Heron Field, where fans came to watch the Long Island Seawolves and Glendale Herons get after it.
Glendale Herons starter Hengkie Iriawan kept the Long Island Seawolves hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-1 win. The Seawolves, at 14-25, have lost 4 straight games.
Iriawan, who is rated as the 37th best prospect by BNN, pitched a complete game for Glendale. Iriawan surrendered 3 hits over 9 innings and struck out 8. With the win, he moves to 5-3 on the season.
"Hengkie did a tremendous job," said Glendale manager Juan López.
