Blue Sox Prevail, 3-1, Over Glendale
|
Irving Blue Sox starter Joel Farrell turned in a top-notch performance against the Glendale Herons at Blue Sox Ballpark. The result was a win for the Blue Sox, 3-1. Earning his 4th save for Irving was Ron Anderson. Irving is now 17-15.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, left fielder Juan Jimínez came through big-time for the Blue Sox. With Irving leading 2-1, he belted a solo home run.
"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Farrell.
