Hops Scratch and Claw to 6-1 Win
|
Charles Weber left his imprint on the 6-1 Yakima win against the Lancaster Farmers. Weber was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The win leaves Yakima with a record of 3-3.
An important at-bat for Yakima came with two out in the top of the 12th. With the bases loaded, Weber hit a grand slam, which contributed to the Hops win.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Yakima manager Craig Walters.
