Nationals Fall Short, 5-4, at San Antonio
Despite a fine performance by first baseman Scot Willis, the Ottawa Nationals suffered a 5-4 loss to the San Antonio BC. Willis was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win moves San Antonio to a record of 2-4.

Esteban Borsellino had a big 2-run single for the BC in the bottom of the sixth inning. With San Antonio leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Charles Repka and stroked the single to right. It was his 6th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the BC ahead, 5-2.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Ottawa manager John Hill.
