Thunder Hawks Come Back Late, Nip Ghosts
Ft. Polk South second baseman Lee Suárez had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Casper Ghosts, 6-5. The winner was Sima Babic in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Rhett Abbott took the loss. The Thunder Hawks raised their record to 1-1.

Had Suárez not come through in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Suárez hit a bases-clearing double. The Thunder Hawks never looked back after taking the 5-4 lead.

"We're all smiles after that win," Suárez told the Ft. Polk South Gazette.
