Men Subdue Vermont, 4-2
|
The Florida Men defeated the Vermont Lake Monsters, 4-2, in M3L Triple A action at Psychos Ballpark, with Florida pitcher Raymond Allan named player of the game. Tyler Lund was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 10 of 13 save opportunities. Florida is now 38-62.
Warner Robinson drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances for Florida. The 34-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jesús Vidro. It was his 34th walk of the season.
