Men Use Late-Game Magic to Beat BC

The Florida Men stopped the Houston BC, 6-3, behind an impressive performance from Kyle Vandenbrink. The 27-year old center fielder made life miserable for Houston pitching. He was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Earl Simmons picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 9-5. Corbin Holling was tagged with the loss. Florida, at 37-61, sits in 11th place in the Menard's AAA.
Spencer Landes took Corbin Holling deep in the bottom of the ninth. His 3-run home run put the Men on top, 6-3. In all, Landes had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
Vandenbrink told a Florida Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
