Men Win at Houston, 2-0
|
Houston Park was the site of a exceptional pitchers' duel.
Florida Men starter Wiley Fritzler was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Houston BC, 2-0. Carlos González, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.
Alfred Miles helped out the Florida cause in the top of the eighth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 4.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Miles.
Florida occupies 11th place in the Menard's AAA at 36-61.
