The Brinkley Belugas topped the Hamilton Coyotes, 6-2, in M3L Triple A action at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. The player of the game was Brinkley pitcher Luis Hernández. Brinkley reliever Powell Beauregard picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Dave Wheeler absorbed the loss. The Belugas' win now puts them at 57-37.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when second baseman Wu-shiun Wang, who is rated as the 99th best prospect by BNN, hit a single. The Belugas went on to win.

Hernández told a Brinkley Bulletin reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
