Sioux Falls catcher Sean MacKnight had a good game, even if his team did not. The Red Pandas dropped a 6-5 decision to Houston at Houston Park. MacKnight was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 5 runs. With the win, the BC have a record of 37-53.
Mike Howard hit a 2-run triple off António Silva in the bottom of the ninth, which put the BC in front, 6-5. Howard had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Sioux Falls manager Ricardo Martínez. "The effort was great."
