The Phoenix Hotspur took Northern Virginia pitcher Mimosa Joseph's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Atlantica. The final score had Phoenix getting past the Rainbow Mermaids, 4-3. Joseph went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs, striking out 7. Earning his 4th save of the year was Mitchell Atwell. Phoenix, at 18-19, occupies 5th place in the Premier League.
