Takaki, Hotspur Beat Dodgers, 9-4
|
It was a good time at Chase Field, where fans came to watch the Brooklyn Dodgers and Phoenix Hotspur get after it.
A 4-RBI performance from Harumi Takaki, who is on pace for 75 RBI this season, helped the Phoenix Hotspur beat the Brooklyn Dodgers, 9-4. Phoenix is now 17-19, Brooklyn 18-18.
Julián De Paz, who is on pace to hit 24 home runs this season, chipped in for Phoenix with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," De Paz told reporters after the game.
