A 3-RBI performance from second baseman Stephen McManus, who is tied for 5th in the 3AAA with a .326 batting average, led the Hialeah Dodos to a 6-2 win over the Hamilton Coyotes. Logan Gregory got the win, improving to 4-4. He held the Coyotes to 2 earned runs on 6 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 5. Hialeah, at 37-46, occupies 9th place in the Menard's AAA.
McManus had a key at-bat for Hialeah early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and gave Hialeah an early 2-1 lead.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Hialeah manager Kyle Besley.
