Great Lakers Solve Dodos, 3-2

The Pure Michigan Great Lakers topped the Hialeah Dodos, 3-2, in M3L Triple A action at Dodos Ballpark. The player of the game was Pure Michigan pitcher and Lakewood, New Jersey native Morlack Spurgeon. Pure Michigan reliever Eduardo Capata picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Olegário Pa was saddled with the loss. Pure Michigan is now riding a 4-game win streak.
Eric D'Angle's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a curveball from Olegário Pa for a run-scoring double. It put Pure Michigan in front, 3-2.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Spurgeon.
