Red Pandas Get Close Win Over Coyotes
|
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas turned back the Hamilton Coyotes, 4-3, at The Bamboo Forest. Ju-chan Pak was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Red Pandas' win now puts them at 36-31.
Pak contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Sioux Falls in the bottom of the ninth. With his team trailing 3-2, Pak took a fastball from Noburo Oishi and stroked the home run to left. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Red Pandas to leap in front, 4-3.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Hamilton skipper Jacob Green.
