Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids starter Eric Matson was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the D.C. Divided, 5-2. Iván García picked up the save, his 10th. The 9th-place Divided have lost 4 consecutive games.

Kyoji Hakoda helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring double to give Northern Virginia a 1-0 lead.
