Dodos Come Back Late to Top Red Pandas
|
The Hialeah Dodos bested the Sioux Falls Red Pandas by a score of 9-8, with second baseman Stephen McManus getting the main credit. On the day, McManus was 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Dodos. Hialeah is now 28-28, while Sioux Falls is 30-26.
Perry Bothof's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a fastball from Mike Chambers for a 2-run single. It put Hialeah in front, 9-7.
