|
The Brinkley Belugas topped the Pennsauken Flyers, 4-3, in M3L Triple A action at Pennsauken Park. The player of the game was Brinkley pitcher and Havana, Cuba native Luis Hernández. Hernández, now 4-1, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 8, walking 3, and allowing 3 earned runs. Brinkley occupies third place in the Menard's AAA at 24-14.
Had Noah Bushby not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Bushby hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Belugas.
