Belugas Ballpark was the site for M3L Triple A action featuring the Brinkley Belugas and Pennsauken Flyers.
Brinkley pitcher Matt Davenport gave the Flyers all they could handle, but in the end, Pennsauken left Belugas Ballpark with a 5-1 win. Davenport allowed 2 earned runs on 6 hits over 7.1 innings. Pennsauken now has a 3-game win streak.
Ignacio Martínez was a key contributor to the win for the Flyers. In the top of the eighth with two out, the light-hitting designated hitter stroked a triple to right. He was 1 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 3 runs.
