Red Pandas Topple Lake Monsters with Late Rally
It was a fun time at The Bamboo Forest, where the Vermont Lake Monsters and Sioux Falls Red Pandas tangled.

The Sioux Falls Red Pandas had to overcome a big game from Vermont center fielder Robert La Caze to leave The Bamboo Forest with a 9-4 victory. La Caze went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Greg Davis, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed 4 runs on 5 hits in 2 innings.

One important at-bat came with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the eighth inning. Facing Vermont hurler Mike Brandner, Pedro Morales hit a double. The Red Pandas went on to win.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Sioux Falls manager Ricardo Martínez.

The win moves Sioux Falls to a record of 11-9.
