Late Rally by Flyers Secures Win

Both teams had their chances, but the Pennsauken Flyers eventually prevailed at Pennsauken Park.
The Pennsauken Flyers topped the Augusta Timber Hawks, 3-2, in M3L Triple A action at Pennsauken Park. The player of the game was Pennsauken pitcher Luis Torrez. The Timber Hawks drop to 6-9 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2031 season.
José Rodríguez was the walk-off hero for Pennsauken. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Flyers second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Torrez. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
