Voodoo Turn Back Echo Park, 4-2
New Orleans Voodoo starter Leroy Moody was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Echo Park Lakers, 4-2. New Orleans is now 15-21.

The Voodoo beat the Lakers in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Felix Plugge produced in the bottom of the sixth. Batting against Echo Park pitcher Will Hunting, Plugge gave his team a 2-1 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.

"I made some pitches when I had to," said Moody.
