Buckhead Bowties starter George Frazier was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the New Orleans Voodoo, 5-3. Earning his 1st save for Buckhead was Tomás Vargas. Buckhead occupies 8th place in the Third League at 10-14.
In the bottom of the second, Kevin Baxter hit a 2-run single for Buckhead. The 20th hit of the season for the Buckhead left fielder put the Bowties on top, 2-0.
"Enjoyed this one," Baxter told the Buckhead Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
