Dutchmen Win Again, Extend Streak to 6
|
New Amsterdam Dutchmen starter Walt Coffman kept the Toledo Stingers hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 7-0 win. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for New Amsterdam.
David Elías, who is the 7th-best prospect in the Dutchmen organization, aided the New Amsterdam cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the catcher was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Feels good to get the job done," Elías said after the game.
