Mercer Island No Match for Moody Sunday, August 25th, 2030 Andrew Moody of the Minnesota Loons humiliated the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles at Loony Bin today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 2 hits. "He's got a bunch of different arm angles and his ball was really moving," said Mercer Island manager Jared Gilbert, after the game. Moody whiffed 6 and walked 2 in the 7-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Moody said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." So far this year Moody has made 18 starts, tossed 128.1 innings, struck out 85 batters and walked 36. His record is 6-7 with a 2.17 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .215 batting average.
