Player of the Week Honor to Asheville Pitcher Monday, August 19th, 2030 Youth was served last week as 25-year-old Manuel Sánchez put together a remarkable stretch on the mound, outpacing all other USPL Double A pitchers and hitters to win Player of the Week honors. The Asheville Highlanders hurler rang up 10 strikeouts in 12 innings, compiling an ERA of 0.00 and posting a fine 2-0 mark. To date this year, Sánchez shows a 8-6 record, 19 starts, 103.1 innings, 92 strikeouts and a 3.83 ERA. |
