Week's Top Performer Honored by SAA Monday, September 9th, 2030 So far in his young career, Bartolo Soto has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Irving Blue Sox left fielder hit at a torrid .565 clip as he collected 13 hits in 23 at-bats, 1 home run, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. In 96 games this season Soto is batting .339 with 140 hits and 1 home run. He has scored 72 runs and driven in 77. |
