Salem No Match for Adame Thursday, August 29th, 2030 Pedro Adame of the Irving Blue Sox humiliated the Salem Misfits at Blue Sox Ballpark today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 4 hits. "He's got a bunch of different arm angles and his ball was really moving," said Salem manager Taylor Whitney, after the game. Adame whiffed 10 and walked 1 in the 7-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Adame said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." So far this year Adame has made 7 starts, tossed 58 innings, struck out 42 batters and walked 13. His record is 5-1 with a 3.26 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .249 batting average.
