Ron Crumpacker Out for Season Thursday, August 8th, 2030 A blow for Ron Crumpacker today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 12 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Crumpacker suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Long Island Seawolves are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Crumpacker's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This season Crumpacker has notched 4 saves with 9 strikeouts and 10 walks in 12.2 innings while registering a 7.11 ERA and a 0-1 won-lost record. |
