BC Gardner Gone for Year Monday, July 1st, 2030 The season is finished for Ken Gardner of the San Antonio BC. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The BC shortstop suffered a concussion while making a defensive play in a recent game against the Atlantic City Sonics. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. In 47 games Gardner is hitting .238 this season with 44 hits, 3 home runs, 24 RBIs, 29 walks, .338 OBP and has scored 23 runs. |
