Campbell and Adame Brawl, League Suspends Them Wednesday, September 18th, 2030 After an intense confrontation, both the Sonics Malcolm Campbell and the Blue Sox Pedro Adame were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Atlantic City-Irving game. Both players will miss 10 games as a result of their actions. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Malcolm Campbell commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Campbell is hitting .265 this year with 7 home runs and 28 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .305, 16 walks and scored 49 times. In the current season in 10 starts, Pedro Adame has a record of 7-1 with 51 strikeouts in 79 innings and a 2.85 ERA. |
