San Bernardino Center Fielder Nets 3AA Award Monday, July 15th, 2030 22-year-old Arana Sashi made a few San Bernardino headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 19 at-bats to put up a .526 average. Sashi collected 1 home run, 5 RBIs and scored 7 runs. This season Sashi is swinging the bat at a .274 rate with 57 hits in 208 at-bats. To date he has hit 7 home runs, scored 38 runs and driven in 28. |
