Belvedere Park No Match for Arnaud Tuesday, June 25th, 2030 In an outstanding mound performance, Bethesda Atoms starter Alain Arnaud fired a complete-game shutout against the Belvedere Park Rawhides at Field of the Rawhides today. Arnaud was the key to the Atoms's 4-0 win. The 22-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 2 hits and 1 walk he allowed. "2 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." So far this year Arnaud has made 5 starts, tossed 33.1 innings, struck out 29 batters and walked 6. His record is 3-0 with a 2.43 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .208 batting average.
