Billings's Costa to Miss Season Saturday, May 18th, 2030 The season is ending on a bad note for Cipriano Costa, reliever for the Billings Polar Bears. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Costa was hurt against the Yakima Hops while throwing a pitch. He suffered a fractured coracoid bone in his shoulder and will be out for at least 5 months. To date this year Costa has won 1 and lost 1 with a 2.70 ERA, no saves and 9 strikeouts in 5 relief appearances. |
