September's 3AA Top Pitcher is Herons Yamaguchi Tuesday, October 1st, 2030 Hikaru Yamaguchi hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning M3L Double A Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In September the Glendale starter earned a 3-0 mark in 3 starts. He threw 20.1 innings, struck out 11 and compiled a solid 0.44 ERA. Since joining the league, Yamaguchi has compiled an ERA of 3.47 with a career record of 12-5. He has 117 strikeouts in 148 innings and has held opponents to a .240 batting average. |
