Reliever Cedeņo Top SAAA Pitcher in August Sunday, September 1st, 2030 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Jorge Cedeņo, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Gryfindor Braves reliever, 26, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .188 average and walked away with the USSL Triple A Pitcher of the Month award for August. Cedeņo posted a 4-0 mark and a 1.35 ERA in no relief appearances. In 33.1 innings, he had no saves, 29 strikeouts, and 10 walks. This season in no relief appearances Cedeņo has thrown 127 innings and collected no saves. His won-lost record is 11-2 with a 4.25 ERA. |
