Braves Gonzáles Gone for Year Sunday, August 18th, 2030 The season is finished for Cris Gonzáles of the Gryfindor Braves. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Braves right fielder suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing the ball in a recent game against the Vermont Lake Monsters. Team doctors said it would take at least 6 months to heal. Gonzáles is hitting .294 so far this season with 48 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 62 hits including 11 home runs, 41 walks and .429 OBP. |
