Neri No-Hits BC Friday, July 5th, 2030 It was the game that pitchers dream about: the no-hitter. It happened today at Doubledays Stadium. Mathieu Neri of the Tremont Doubledays was right on target against the Houston BC in a 6-0 victory. Neri zeroed in on them, holding them hitless with 7 strikeouts and 3 walks. "I just had it all today," Neri told BNN reporters after the game. "Very good stuff and great location. That is a combination that's hard to beat." So far this year Neri has made 12 starts, tossed 76.1 innings, struck out 55 batters and walked 30. His record is 3-4 with a 4.95 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .286 batting average.
