Supernovas Solís Suspended
Tuesday, June 25th, 2030
Alonso Solís was incensed today after he was suspended by the commissioner's office for 2 games following a wild argument at the Scranton-Tremont game. The league cited the Supernovas shortstop for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct," in the notification letter. Solís strongly objected to a questionable call by the home plate umpire and was ejected.
"Ejection? Maybe. But not suspension. It's ludicrous is what it is. It's totally uncalled for. I have no idea why. You have to ask the people in the league office that wear the coats and ties and don't get on the field. I didn't cause the altercation, the umpire did. It was a lousy call."
Solís is hitting .200 so far this season with 1 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has 3 hits including no home runs, 3 walks and .333 OBP.
