Campoverde Chosen 2030 SAAA Outstanding Hitter Award Wednesday, October 9th, 2030 He may have less experience than most of his USSL Triple A peers, but that didn't slow Gabrio Campoverde down at all in 2030. At the age of 24, the Bloomington center fielder has been named the winner of the USSL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award. He had a .331 batting average and a .433 on-base percentage this year. In 81 games he piled up 103 hits, 13 doubles, 1 triple, 18 home runs, 75 RBIs and 65 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." Andrés Medina of the Athletic Club KC Reserves finished second in voting, while Wu-shun Chu of the Athletic Club KC Reserves finished third. |
