USPL Triple A's Best Batter Announced Monday, September 9th, 2030 23-year-old Elmer Hudgins made a few Pawnee headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USPL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 21 at-bats to put up a .524 average. Hudgins collected no home runs, 4 RBIs and scored 5 runs. This year Hudgins is hitting .317 with no home runs and 17 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .376 clip and scored 26 runs. |
