Silander Rips Salt Lake City for 5 Hits Saturday, August 10th, 2030 ParksNRec second baseman Chad Silander had his way with Salt Lake City pitching today at Spirits Stadium and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Buzz ruined his great day by toppling the ParksNRec, 5-4. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Salt Lake City credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Silander did today," Buzz skipper Enrique Zumaya said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Chad Silander singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. Silander is hitting .269 this year with no home runs and 13 RBIs.
