Takaki and Safi Brawl, League Suspends Them Wednesday, July 10th, 2030 After an intense confrontation, both the Hotspur Reserves Harumi Takaki and the ParksNRec Arnold Safi were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Phoenix-Pawnee game. Both players will miss 3 games as a result of their actions. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Harumi Takaki commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Takaki is hitting .291 this year with 16 home runs and 43 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .389, 25 walks and scored 38 times. So far this year Safi has nailed down no saves. His won-lost record is 4-2 with a 6.65 ERA. |
